TASK 6: Mathematical resources in the Classroom (Teaching Practice year1 semester2)

Mathematical Resources found in the preschool classroom:	Mathematics Skill / Concept that can be developed with it.	Exploring on possible activities to develop mathematical skills and concepts using these materials
cubes	Counting, adding, minus, creating patterns ( the teacher give them two colors red and blue and then she ask them to create pattern using these two color so the students put one red and blue)	There is activity that is simple and that the teacher writes a number in a plastic cup and the students put cubes on the number that on the cup ( if the teacher wrote 12 on the cup they will count 12 cubes and put them inside the cup)
Abacus	Counting, calculating including ‘more / less than;’ addition, subtraction	The students will have a paper and then they will do what in the paper like if Hamad moved 3 blue circle to another side(side 1) how many circle will he have side 2
